Terms of Service

Effective: May 25, 2026


1. About These Terms

1-1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ILJI ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Changes to These Terms

  • We will notify you at least 7 days before any change takes effect (or 30 days for changes that are materially adverse to you), via in-app notice or email.
  • If you continue using the Service after the effective date, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Terms.
  • If you disagree, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

3. Your Account

3-1. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement.

We may refuse or revoke an account if you:

  • Provide false information during sign-up
  • Are under 14 years old
  • Were previously suspended for violating these Terms
  • Clearly intend to disrupt normal operation of the Service

3-2. Sign-In Methods

3-3. Account Security

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • All activity under your account is attributed to you.
  • If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately.

4. What the Service Does

4-1. Features

  • Personal and team appointment management (calendar, timeline, recurring appointments, D-Day countdowns)
  • Contact management, phone-number-based appointment history, Caller ID integration
  • Templates (presets, custom, AI-generated) with various input fields
  • Before/after photos
  • Service timer (with one-time location capture for team appointments)
  • Message templates and SMS app integration
  • Invoice/PDF generation, electronic signature, sharing
  • Team calendars (invite, join, manage members, assign tasks, track changes)
  • Home screen widgets, search, dashboard
  • Korean and English language support

4-2. No Ads

We do not display ads and we do not use your data for ad targeting.

4-3. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7, but it may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, force majeure, or disruptions to upstream services. When offline, you can access personal data stored locally on your device; team data requires an internet connection.

4-4. Location-Based Services

In accordance with the Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information of the Republic of Korea, we provide the following location-based service.

① Service Description

When you start a service timer on a team appointment, your current location (latitude and longitude) is collected once and converted to an address via reverse geocoding. This information is used solely to record the work start location as proof of task progress. No background location tracking occurs, and no location is collected for personal events.

② Fees

There is no separate fee for the location-based service.

③ Purpose and Retention of Personal Location Information

④ Retention of Usage Confirmation Records

Pursuant to Article 16 of the Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information, records confirming the collection, use, and provision of location information are automatically logged and retained for 6 months.

⑤ Rights of Users

  • You may withdraw consent for the collection, use, or provision of your personal location information at any time, in whole or in part. Denying location permission does not prevent you from using the timer itself — only the location record is omitted.
  • You may request access to or correction of your personal location information.
  • Such requests can be made via email at support@ilji.app, and we will take necessary action without delay.

⑥ Location Information Officer

The person responsible for managing location information is the representative listed in Section 18 ("Operator Information") and can be reached at support@ilji.app.


5. Free and Pro Plans

5-1. Principle

Every feature is free. The Pro plan only extends convenience limits — it does not lock any feature behind a paywall.

5-4. Pricing

Pro pricing is shown in the app. Indicative price: ₩4,900/month (subject to change). A 7-day free trial is available once per account.

5-5. Changes to the Free Plan

We may adjust Free plan limits for operational reasons. If a change is materially adverse, we will give advance notice before it takes effect.


6. Payment and Refunds

6-1. How You Pay

Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. We never collect your payment method details directly.

6-2. Auto-Renewal

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel, it renews at the same price and interval. You can cancel anytime in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

6-3. Refunds

  • Refund requests are handled by the store where you made the purchase (Apple or Google).
  • If a refund is granted, Pro access is revoked immediately.
  • Re-subscribing after a refund starts at full price with no trial.
  • Your existing data is not deleted.

6-4. Downgrade (Pro → Free)

  • At the end of the billing period, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan.
  • Existing data is never deleted. If you exceed Free limits, you can still view and edit existing items — only new creation is blocked.
  • Existing photos remain viewable until their 90-day retention period expires.

6-5. Minors

If a minor (under 19 in South Korea) makes a purchase without parental consent, the minor or their legal guardian may cancel the purchase through the applicable store's process.


7. Your Responsibilities

7-1. Obligations

  • Comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
  • Provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it current.
  • Ensure your Content does not infringe on anyone else's rights.
  • If you enter third-party personal data (contacts, photos, etc.), you are responsible for having the legal right to collect and store that data.
  • Keep team invite links secure — anyone with the link can join.

7-2. Prohibited Conduct

  • Entering another person's personal data without their consent
  • Uploading content that infringes copyrights, portrait rights, or other third-party rights
  • Using the Service for illegal activity
  • Accessing or attempting to access another user's account
  • Reverse-engineering, hacking, or using automation tools to access the Service in unauthorized ways
  • Generating abnormal traffic that disrupts normal operation
  • Including personal or sensitive information about others in AI template prompts

7-3. Enforcement

If you violate these Terms, we may remove or restrict your Content, temporarily or permanently suspend your account, or in serious cases, delete your account.


8. Your Content

8-1. Ownership

You own your Content. We do not claim any ownership rights over anything you create in the Service.

8-2. License to Us

You grant us a limited license to store, reproduce, transmit, and display your Content solely to provide and operate the Service. This license ends when you delete your Content or your account.

8-3. Template Snapshots

If you modify or delete a template, existing appointments retain the template as it was at the time of saving. Change history is similarly preserved.

8-4. AI-Generated Templates

AI-generated templates are not saved automatically. You review and edit them before saving. Once saved, they are your Content and the same rights apply.

8-5. Reporting Content

If you believe any Content in the Service violates these Terms or the law, you can report it to support@ilji.app.


9. Team Calendars

9-1. Shared Content

Appointments, templates, photos, assignee information, and change history within a team calendar are visible to all team members. By joining a team, you acknowledge and consent to this sharing.

  • Team members can view and edit team content within their permission level.
  • Change history may show who made each change and what was changed.
  • Service timer status (who is working) is shared, but location coordinates are not.
  • Personal appointments are never shared with teams.

9-2. Invitations

  • Team owners create invite links that expire after 24 hours.
  • Anyone with the link can join, so handle links carefully.

9-4. Leaving or Being Removed

  • If you leave or are removed from a team, the Content you added to the team calendar stays with the team.
  • A removed member cannot rejoin until the owner unblocks them.

9-5. Deleting a Team

  • Only the owner can delete a team, and only when they are the sole remaining member.
  • If the owner leaves as the last member, the team is dissolved and all team data is deleted.

10. Photos, Documents, and Signatures

10-1. Photos

  • Photos are automatically deleted from the server 90 days after upload. This cannot be reversed.
  • Photos are limited to JPEG format, 5 MB per file.
  • Photos may contain third-party personal information (faces, addresses, license plates, interiors). You are responsible for what you photograph and upload.

10-2. Documents (PDF)

  • Documents are generated on demand and are not stored on our servers separately.
  • VAT calculations included in documents are for reference only and carry no legal or tax authority.

10-3. Signatures

  • Signature images are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers or synced across devices.
  • If you change devices, reinstall the app, or the file is corrupted, your signatures cannot be recovered.

11. AI Template Generation

  • AI-generated templates are provided for reference only. We make no guarantees about their accuracy or suitability.
  • You must review and edit AI output before using it. Do not treat AI results as legal, tax, or professional advice.
  • Do not include personal or sensitive information about others in prompts.
  • AI template generation is limited to 5 times per day.

12. SMS and External Sharing

  • The Service composes messages and hands them off to your device's SMS app or share sheet. We do not send SMS directly.
  • Messages may automatically include names, addresses, amounts, and other details.
  • We do not guarantee delivery, receipt, or bear any messaging costs.
  • Once data is shared via an external app, it is governed by that app's or recipient's own policies.

13. Backups and Data Loss

13-1. Backups

We perform regular backups for disaster recovery. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup of important data.

13-2. Device-Only Data

The following data is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered after a device change or app reinstall:

  • Business profile and payment instruction settings
  • Signature images
  • Message text you wrote
  • App settings (theme, language, widget preferences)

13-3. Limitation of Liability for Data Loss

We are not liable for data loss caused by:

  • Your own deletion of data
  • Loss or compromise of your account credentials
  • Force majeure, cyberattacks, or network failures beyond our reasonable control
  • The automatic photo deletion (90 days after upload, disclosed in these Terms and our Privacy Policy)

14. Service Changes and Discontinuation

14-1. Temporary Interruptions

We may temporarily suspend the Service for scheduled or emergency maintenance, security incidents, force majeure, or cascading failures from upstream services.

14-2. Permanent Discontinuation

If we decide to permanently discontinue the Service, we will:

  • Give at least 30 days' advance notice
  • Provide a window of at least 30 days for you to export your data
  • Refund Pro subscribers for any remaining prepaid period

15. Account Deletion

15-1. How to Delete

You can delete your account at any time through the "Delete Account" option in the app settings.

15-2. What Happens

  • All personal data (appointments, contacts, templates, photos, logs, profile) is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Content you contributed to team calendars may remain with the team (see Section 9-4).
  • Records required by law (payment history, etc.) are retained for the legally mandated period.
  • Deleting your ILJI account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel that separately.

16. Limitation of Liability

16-1. Disclaimers

We are not liable for:

  • Service unavailability caused by force majeure, war, or network failures
  • Damages caused by your own actions or negligence
  • Accuracy of AI-generated templates (they are reference material — review before use)
  • Legal or tax validity of documents, invoices, or PDFs generated by the Service
  • Anything that happens after data leaves the Service via SMS or external sharing
  • Disputes between you and other parties arising from transactions or contracts
  • Feature limitations caused by outages or policy changes of upstream services

16-2. Cap on Damages

Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our total liability to you will not exceed the aggregate amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.


17. Governing Law and Disputes

17-1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

17-2. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising under these Terms may be brought before a court with jurisdiction over your place of residence or our principal place of business.

19. General

  • Matters not addressed in these Terms are governed by applicable Korean laws and customary practices.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • Our Privacy Policy applies alongside these Terms.
