Set up caller ID

Caller ID can show a name saved in ILJI when a call comes from a number that is not already in your device contacts.

Set up caller ID on iPhone

   Open Caller ID in ILJI

   Choose Caller ID under More to see its current status and setup guidance.

   Go to iPhone Settings

   Open Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification.

   Enable ILJI

   Turn on the switch beside ILJI, then return to the app and check the status again.

Set up caller ID on Android

   Open Caller ID in ILJI

   Start setup from Caller ID under More.

   Allow the requested permission

   Allow the phone-related permission needed to identify a saved number when it calls.

   Check the setup status

   If permission was denied or needs to be restored, review ILJI's permissions in device settings.

Which name appears?

• If the number is also in your device contacts, the device contact name takes priority.
• If it is not in your device contacts, ILJI uses the saved ILJI contact category and name.
• Editing or deleting an ILJI contact also updates caller identification. Some devices may take a short time to reflect the change.

If a name does not appear

• Make sure the complete phone number is saved correctly.
• On iPhone, confirm that ILJI is enabled under Call Blocking & Identification.
• On Android, confirm that ILJI has the requested phone-related permission.
• If you just changed the contact, reopen Caller ID in ILJI and check the latest status.
• Caller identification may be unavailable or limited on some devices and operating-system versions.
