What happens to schedules and teams after a downgrade?

Review what remains and which limits apply after moving to Free or Plus.

6 min read

Existing schedules and work records are not immediately deleted when paid access ends or you move to a lower plan. The new plan's features and limits apply, so some teams or new contacts and photo uploads can be restricted.

Moving from Team to Plus or Free

  • Free and Plus allow 1 team calendar in total, owned or joined.
  • If you used several teams, the team you joined earliest remains available and teams above the limit can be kept in a restricted state.
  • Restricted teams are excluded from My Calendar overlay, Assigned to me, and widgets.
  • You can open a restricted team to review it, leave it, or complete a needed ownership transfer, but creating and editing schedules is restricted.
  • Moving back to a plan with enough capacity can make the kept teams available again.

When contact and photo limits become lower

Saved contacts and photos are not immediately deleted just because they exceed a new limit. However, the current plan can prevent adding more contacts or uploading new photos. Check the current count and future needs before removing useful records.

AI and plan-only features

  • Web search and the range of ILJI AI use change to the new plan.
  • Questions across several team calendars and the Assigned-to-me team view may no longer be available.
  • Even if old AI chats remain on the device, new-question access follows the current plan.

Prepare before the change

  1. 01

    Identify the team to keep

Separate the team that must continue from any teams you own but no longer need.

  2. 02

Hand over ownership and assigned work

Transfer teams and upcoming schedules to the people who will continue them.

  3. 03

    Review needed records and documents

Check completed work and documents in teams that may become restricted.

  4. 04

Check the effective date in the store

Finish any needed handover before the plan actually changes.
