Import from your device contacts

When creating a contact, you can open your device's contact picker and bring in a saved name and phone number.

Import a device contact

1. 01

   Open Add contact in ILJI

   Go to the Contacts tab and tap Add.

   Tap the contacts icon beside the phone field

   Your device's contact picker opens.

3. 03

   Choose a person

   The selected name and phone number are filled into the form.

   Review and save

   Add a category, email, company, address, or notes if needed, then save the ILJI contact.

Editing or deleting the imported contact in ILJI does not change the original contact on your device.

If import does not work

• If the device contact picker does not open, check that ILJI is allowed to access contacts.
• If the person is missing, first make sure they are saved in your device's default Contacts app.
• When several phone numbers are available, review which one was entered before saving.
• If the person already exists in ILJI, edit that contact instead of creating a duplicate.
