Create and manage work forms

Build reusable forms around the information your work requires.

5 min read

A work form saves the information and record tools you need for similar jobs, so you do not have to choose them again for every schedule. Create separate forms for customer visits, inspections, repairs, lessons, or any other kind of work.

Create a form

  1. 01

    Open Work forms

Go to More, open Work forms, and choose your personal forms or a team's forms.

  2. 02

    Choose how to begin

Start from scratch or use a prepared example. You can also generate a draft with AI and then edit it.

  3. 03

    Define the fields

Choose standard work details and custom fields, and mark anything that must be filled in as required.

  4. 04

    Choose record tools

If the job needs them, enable messages, the work timer, and before-and-after photos.

  5. 05

    Save and use it

Your form becomes available when you create a new work schedule.

What a form can include

  • Common details such as customer name, phone, email, address, and amount
  • Section headings and explanatory text
  • Text, whole-number, or decimal input
  • Single-choice or multiple-choice fields
  • On-or-off fields for yes-or-no information
  • Required settings, field order, and default values
  • Field tools such as messages, a work timer, and before-and-after photos

Personal forms and team forms

Personal forms are used for work in My Calendar. A team form is shared by members of that team calendar. Importing a personal form into a team creates a separate team copy, so later edits to one do not automatically change the other.

Edit, delete, or reorder forms

From form management, change a form's name or fields, arrange frequently used forms, or delete one that should no longer be offered for new schedules. Existing schedules retain the form details saved with them, but switching an existing schedule to another form can reset its work records, so review the separate guidance first.
