What happens when I change or delete a work form?
Manage forms safely while understanding what happens to existing schedule records.

Editing or deleting the form itself is different from switching a form on a schedule that already exists. Review these differences before changing a schedule whose records you need to keep.
When you edit a form's name or fields
The updated form appears with its latest setup when you create future schedules. Existing schedules keep the form structure saved when they were created, so changing a form name or field order does not suddenly rewrite old schedule screens.
When you delete a form
- The deleted form is no longer available for new work schedules.
- Schedules and entries already created with that form remain available.
- When you edit an existing schedule, its saved form appears as a Deleted form so you can still review and save the existing information.
When you switch an existing schedule to another form
After you accept the warning and choose a new form, the schedule's date, time, recurrence, calendar, assignees, and status remain, but its work details start again using the new form.
- Customer name and contact details, address, notes, and amount
- Custom-field entries and checklist records
- Before-and-after photos
- Timer time and start-location records
Those details do not come back automatically even if you switch to the original form again. Canceling the warning leaves the saved schedule unchanged, so review or separately keep anything important before continuing.
