Record checklists and custom fields
Keep job progress and structured details with a work schedule.
4 min read
A work schedule can hold a checklist for job progress and the custom fields defined by its form.
Add records to a schedule
- Tap a checklist item to record whether it is complete.
- Enter text, numbers, selections, or toggles in the format defined by the form.
- Required fields must be completed before the job can be marked complete.
- Review saved details and status changes from the schedule detail screen.
Forms control the available fields
Custom fields come from the work form selected for that schedule. Changing the form on an existing schedule can clear records tied to the previous form, so review the confirmation before continuing.
Avoid missing records on site
- Scan today's required checklist before starting the job.
- Enter details as you inspect them instead of relying on memory at the end.
- Make only genuinely essential fields required so completion does not become unnecessarily difficult.
- Use choice labels that every team member will interpret the same way.
- Before tapping Complete, review unfinished checks and empty required fields one last time.
