Manage recurring and multi-day schedules in one place

Review saved repeats and multi-day schedules, then edit or delete them as a whole.

5 min read

The recurring-schedule management screen brings saved repeat rules and multi-day schedules together without opening one date in Calendar. Editing or deleting here affects the selected rule as a whole, so review the scope before continuing.

Open repeats and ranges in My Calendar

  1. 01

Select My Calendar at the top of Calendar

Switch from a team calendar first if one is currently open.

  2. 02

    Open My Calendar settings

Tap the calendar name and continue to Settings.

  3. 03

    Choose Recurring schedules

Review the separate sections for repeats and multi-day schedules.

  4. 04

    Expand an item

Check its repeat pattern and date range, then choose Edit or Delete.

How this differs from editing a schedule

  • Schedule details: Choose This occurrence, This and following, or All occurrences.
  • Recurring-schedule management: Edit or delete the selected repeat rule as a whole.
  • Multi-day schedules: Review and manage the date range from the separate range section.

Manage a team's recurring schedules

Select a team calendar and open recurring schedules from that team's settings to see repeats for that team only. Personal multi-day schedules do not appear there, and an internet connection is required to edit or delete team schedules.

Before editing or deleting

  • Review the weekdays, interval, end date, and start time.
  • Deleting the whole rule can remove the schedules that belong to it.
  • If a related work timer is running, you may need to stop it first.
  • To make an exception for one date, open that date's schedule in Calendar instead of using the management screen.
